Lehrerin, warum nicht?

When i was in elementary school, i made a declaration,
"I Dont Wanna Be a Teacher..."
This declaration i made becouse, when i attended my elementary school, most of my elementary school teachers were pregnant, or still and often brought their children to school. I was scare, and based of my analysis, teachers will be pregnant and give birth. So i made this declaration.
I got an offer PMDK at Yogyakarta State University. and, I accepted. Then I moved to Yogyakarta, the city students, to study, without the provision of German language at all. Apparently, German is a difficult language to understand. So many rules, and exceptions to the rules, with a distinctive accent and phonetic. Honestly, until now I still can not follow the accent.
And when i took Bachelor degree, i studied german education at Yogyakarta State University, and i will be a Bachelor of Education, i still  had no  idea to be a teacher. Imagined that I had to stand and spoke in front of students alone makes me really scare.
Well, when i  practiced to teach in senior high school, my love to teach was beginn. I feel the thrill of the new was teaching. It was great, I spoke in front of the class, and all eyes looked at me. Then i love to be a teacher.
After graduated, I returned to Prabumulih, my hometown. In 2006, I taught at a private school, Senior high school Prabumulih Tunas Bakti. In 2007, I taught at the high school merangkat N 2 Prabumulih, this time I was teaching German.
In 2009 I
become civil servants, and placed in the SMA N I Prabumulih. because I am the only foreign language teacher, I taught in 10 classes (20 hours).
A teacher must be patience.
A teacher have tounderstand the characteristics of students, have to smart to set the most appropriate learning strategies, innovative, always update with educational issues and latest developments, and have to ready to overtime with additional tasks. Teachers are actors, role models, artists and so on.
For about 5 years I taught German language, the most material I
dont like to teach are ä, ü and ö. When we are seriously taught, but all the students laughed. Materials that I like is about family. I also love to sing songs with German language students. This is one way to make students love German language. If they love German, learningmotivation increases. Then, the thing that most makes all the teachers happy, and proud of, is if you look at the students that they students are able to succeed.

There's nothing wrong with teaching. I feel that i still have to learn more. That’s why, I take Postgraduate degree in Sriwijaya University, in order to further explore the world of education, and provide the best for the nation. One time, I wish i go to Germany, and continue my studies there. Hopefully this dream is achieved. Amen.
